Rizal 1-MW Mini-Hydropower
The Rizal Mini-Hydropower is located at the Pampanga River Irrigation System Main Canal (PRISMC) weir which is the downstream of the Rizal Diversion Dam in Nueva Ecija. It has a design discharge capacity of 30 cms with an irrigation service area of 12,412 hectares.
The project is expected to generate at least 1-MW of power to be supplied to the Luzon Grid.
Davao Food Exchange (DFEC)
The Davao Food Exchange Plaza Project is the development of the NDC 25-hectare property in Toril, Davao into an agro-industrial estate economic zone with the following components: food processing centers, cold-storage/warehousing facilities, trading posts among others.
The proposed APTC in Davao is intended to provide marketing support to the small and medium farm size vegetable and fruit growers in various barangays in Davao City and Davao del Sur.
First Cavite Industrial Estate
The project involves the development of the NDC-owned 19.17 hectares property located in Brgy. Lankaan II, Dasmariñas, Cavite to be registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) as Special Economic Zone.The developed lands will be sold or leased out on a long-term basis to locators.
San Carlos Bio-Energy Inc. (SCBI)
SCBI owns and operates an integrated ethanol distillery and power co-generation plant that will produce 125,000 liters of ethanol per day and approximately 8MW of power using sugarcane as feedstock. SCBI is the pioneering ethanol plant in the country and the first in Southeast Asia.
Funding of the National Irrigation Administration’s (NIA) Irrigation Systems
NDC was identified to provide funding for the restoration and rehabilitation of existing communal irrigation systems of the National Irrigation Administration’s (NIA) under the pump-priming activities of the government. The financing is a significant component to jumpstart the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) rice-sufficiency program targeted to be achieved by 2010.
Philippine Mining Development Corporation (PMDC)
PMDC is an affiliate of the Natural Resources Development Corp. (NRDC), the corporate arm of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). NRDC is in charge of the whole natural resources development. PMDC specifically handles the mining interest of the DENR.
PMDC has the mandate to implement the development plan of Mt. Diwalwal with its exclusive mining rights in the area.
