NDC joins Workshop on the Crafting of the DTI Communications Plan

Representatives from the National Development Company recently participated in the workshop on “Crafting of the DTI Communications Plan,” led by the DTI Undersecretary for Communications Ed Sunico as part of the Department of Trade and Industry’s goal to improve communication standards by all agencies within DTI.

Lead communications representatives from other DTI-attached agencies were also present, establishing a new Communications Council. With the collective input of the group, it was concluded that there needs to be a simplified and structured communication for the DTI and its attached agencies.

The messaging has to be delivered from appropriate channels that can be effectively digested by the main audience — the Filipino consumers and entrepreneurs, other government agencies, and upscaled enterprises.

Through the Communications Council, the DTI aims to improve its communications infrastructure and subsequent messaging using whatever platform is appropriate for various DTI stakeholders.
