NDC familiarization visit with LIDE at Isabel, Leyte

Representatives of the National Development Company (represented by Assistant General Manager - Business Development Group Mr. Alwejin Ong and Executive Assistant Mr. Raphael Uy Abragan) arrived at Isabel, Leyte on August 7 and 8, to visit Lide Management Corporation (LMC), and to conduct a familiarization visit with PASAR. 

The Economic Development Zone in Isabel, Leyte is managed by the Lide Management Corporation. The same company also manages the Industrial Zone, the Leyte Industrial Development Ecozone (LIDE). There are currently two locators within the Leyte Industrial Zone, namely the Philippine Phosphate Fertilizer Corporation, and PASAR

During the first day of the visit of NDC with LMC, they visited the NDC property in Brgy. Salvacion, Palo, Leyte to observe and view the facilities, offices, and infrastructures, and several water pumping stations inside NDC's property. 

On the 2nd day, the NDC had a familiarization visit to PASAR facilities to see their buildings and offices, as well as the PASAR employees' daily work activities. The PASAR also showed the NDC representatives the process with their copper refinery plant using the cathode refining process, along with the PASAR executives, NEDA, the Board of Investment, and LGUs of Isabel, Leyte.

The NDC also had a tour of the industrial zone with LMC, which manages the area and its facilities in Isabel, Leyte.
